that ¡°Hwang Chul-soon = Fitness¡±, because he has a killer body (also known as
momzzang in Korea) and is a famous sportainer (sports entertainer) at the same

½ºÅ¸ Ȳö¼øµµ ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. There is a beginning to everything. This
holds true for Musclemania as well, the world¡¯s greatest fitness competition
and Korea¡¯s biggest fitness competition. The first Musclemania competition in
Korea took place 11 years ago, when the country was still a fitness wasteland.
The competition was held on the rooftop of APM (Ewha Women¡¯s University
Branch), located in Sinchon, Seoul. It was a small but important step. Although
it was heavily criticized by Korea¡¯s conservative sports communities and
several bodybuilder organizations, the participating fitness athletes
disregarded the rebuke and showed off their talents and passion. As such, it
laid the groundwork for today¡¯s Musclemania. The world acclaimed star Hwang
Chul-soon was also present at this historical moment. ¸Ó½½¸¶´Ï¾ÆÀÇ ½ÃÀÛó·³, ±ÙÀ° °¡µæ Ȳö¼ø¿¡°Ôµµ ½ÃÀÛÀÌ ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. ÃʵîÇб³ ½ÃÀýºÎÅÍ Çڵ庼, ·¹½½¸µ,

Just as there was once a beginning for
Musclemania, there was also one for the muscle-bound Hwang Chul-soon. Hwang
engaged in a wide variety of sports, including handball, wrestling, and track
and field, not to mention breakdancing. While his outstanding sports abilities
can be easily surmised, it¡¯s hard to imagine that the reason he started working
out was actually to overcome his weak build. With a height of 178 cm and
weighing 54 kg, Hwang had even been disqualified from his application to the
Marine Corps for being underweight. For him, working out was a source of
consolation and hope. Ȳö¼øÀÇ ÀÎÅͺä¿Í Ⱥ¸°¡ ±Ã±ÝÇÏ´Ù¸é <¸Æ½ºÅ¥> 4¿ùÈ£¿¡¼ ¸¸³ªº¸¼¼¿ä!
